Sad but true... in this day and age, a handshake isn't enough anymore! Please read the following information which will be found on our agreement.
I, Christine Maentz, cannot be held responsible for any allergic reaction to paints & products used. Reputable, suitable & FDA approved paints are used at all times.
I cannot paint on children less than 3 years old. They wiggle too much and I can accidentally poke them in the eye with my brush! Also, their skin is very sensitive & adverse reactions can occur.
I can refuse to paint anyone that appears unwell or suffering from any skin condition, cold sore or conjunctivitis.
In order to limit the spread of germs, I use clean sponges for each child & wash my brushes regularly.
Paints can be easily removed using baby wipes or a mild soap with water. Please note that certain colors such as green or black can leave temporary color on the skin that will not wash off immediately.
I am not responsible for paint splashes on clothing or furniture or children or stained clothing from children wiping their faces on themselves. All my paints are water soluble and should wash out without any added detergents. For best results, wash out as soon as possible.
Occasionally, I might ask to take a photograph of my work on your child's face for my portfolio or advertising purposes. I will always ask for permission & will require that you sign a consent form.
